Bad Pool Header errors?

While third-party antivirus applications can sometimes find errors that Windows can’t, until the publishers catch up to Windows 8 fully, you’re better off sticking with Microsoft Security Essentials for now. It’s built in to Windows 7 and Windows 8. You can always download Microsoft Security Essentials as well.
Anyone else getting Bad Pool Header--Blue screen of death errors? Since last Friday my computer been really a pain in the rear with BSOD happening like every 10 or 15 minutes. It completely reboots I can tinker for a little bit then it happens again.

A pool header issue is a problem with Windows memory allocation. Device driver issues are probably the most common, but this can have diverse causes including bad sectors or other disk write issues, and problems with some routers. (By theory, RAM problems would be suspect for memory pool issues).

All dumps point to Malwarebytes Anti-MAlware as the cause. Uninstall it and see if the problem goes away. If yes you can try reinstalling the latest version but if the problem comes back then you will have to uninstall it again. I suggest also posting in the MBAM forum: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Help - Malwarebytes Forums

Thank you I will uninstall Malwarebytes and also post in there forum. I will post an update here if it doesn't happen again in a few days.

If uninstalling MBAM resolves the problem and reinstalling it brings it back, you may want to look at uninstalling Bitdefender and running with the built-in Windows Defender for awhile to see if that really fixes the problem.

I prefer TotalMounter as my CD/DVD virtualization software as it allows me to burn images to a virtual CD/DVD if I just want an ISO file instead of a disc, and it is free. bad pool header
