Delhi HC to hear plea of 84-year-old woman on door-to-door Covid-19 vaccination drive

The Delhi High Court to hear a plea by an octogenarian woman seeking formulation of a door-to-door vaccination policy for super-senior and bed-ridden citizens residing at Delhi on an urgent basis.

The matter is listed before the Bench comprising Chief Justice D.N. Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh.

Filed as public interest litigation by an 84-year-old Ms. Dhiraj Aggarwal through Counsel Manan Aggarwal. The petitioner belongs to a vulnerable part of the population and is at high risk of being exposed to the Covid-19 virus if she goes to the vaccination center. In addition, the petitioner is suffering from Arthritis and is mostly bed-ridden.
